Sensing his discomfort, she keeps herself in contact with him, her arm still linked with his, and her shoulder against his upper arm, sharing her warmth. Sometimes she glances at him to check his expression, other times she squeezes his hand. When he seems particularly uneasy, should he be reading over the same text, she gives him a small nudge. When it seems he’s calmer, she offers a smile.

However by the end of the text, her expression is far more concerned. Turning the communicator off, she places it face down upon the porch and sighs, appearing troubled. ]
