That's easy to say, until that protection breaks down and every person counts.

[Noctis idly kicks at nothing on the ground, hands slipping into his pockets.]

Take it from someone who grew up in a city like this- walls are strong, but people are stronger. I know who I'd rather rely on.

[And walls have their prices, too. Back in Insomnia, it wasn't the concrete walls surrounding the city that kept them safe, or the magic barrier. It was his dad who protected them all. They don't know enough about what's really paying the price for their protection in Havenwell.]
