[ Back to drawing danger noodles that serve as serpentine dragons. Her actual artistry is awful compared to his. ]
If the dragons are kidnapping princes and destroying all... then it would seem like a black-and-white tale. Is that what you wish for this game to have?
[That's pretty sad, Pyra, because his skill ain't that magical.
He thinks that over for a moment, shifting to a new canvas, satisfied for the moment with the design. He really needs a proper pen for this, but whatever. What kind of story...]
I've never really been a great storyteller. If this thing's gonna have a more complicated plot, it won't come from me. I think I'm okay with that, though.
[He glances sidelong at her tablet, watching the wiggling lines.]
So... what kind of character would you want to play?
[ Noodle dragons!! Behold their might. Don't worry, if she actually gets her hands on making this game, she'll design right and proper dragons alongside badass robot ones for him. This is just the concept art, it will be published later...
Pyra nods, agreeing with keeping this story simple. ] You mean with the heroes? Ophion is being... immortalized into this game. Don't you think that is enough?
[ The dragon is an extension of her. She's satisfied with his likeness being killed over and over again for the righteous heroes, as it ought to be. ]
I... guess, yeah. If she likes it. [He scratches shyly at one cheek.] But a full party is four, and I want a bunch of characters, so lots of different people can play if they want.
Her expression shifts, and she raises a hand to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, the gesture quite bashful, reserved as if she’s touched— or that she didn’t think he would invite her. ]
....Er. What do you think would be best...? Support, maybe? [ So she can literally just stand behind him with her hand on his shoulder the entire time.
Support could work. Like a mage type? Firing spells off from the back, enhancing a hero's weapon for a combo attack... I was thinking more for the design, but a class is a good start.
[SHRUG. He doesn't care who throws him, it's always pretty awesome. And even outside of VR he wouldn't doubt her strength, she could totally surprise him. Aranea doesn't look that much bigger in the muscle department at first glance, and she once threw him so hard he almost concussed himself on an Iron Giant's bicep.]

[He tilts his head in her direction, curious and a little confused.]
You'll play with me too sometimes, right?

She seems surprised, and she glances down at his drawings. ]
The designs you were making just now... were they not for you and Luna?

I would be honored to fight alongside you.

It's just a video game... but good to know. So?
[He lifts his tablet meaningfully. His question still stands!]

Oh— does this mean I’ll be able to toss you at a dragon, too?
[ How could this be a bad idea. ]
